Qué Pasa Sonoma

Wednesday
2pm - 3pm
host: Ken Brown , Leslie Tippell

QUÉ PASA SONOMA is Spanish for “What’s Going Down” in Sonoma!

Join Leslie Tippell and Ken Brown as they give you the lowdown on all the happenings in town with special guests and an eclectic mix of rock, alternative, and chillout tunes. Whether getting Carole Cherry’s Astrological Forecast for the month, Terry Ebinger’s Archetypal movie analyses and theatrical reviews, or shedding light on some heavier topics, Qué Pasa Sonoma always places emphasis on arts, music and theatre with a spiritual component that reflects what is good for the soul and the community.

Stream us live at sunfmtv.com. Irreverent and witty, live and unscripted, there is no topic that is out of bounds!

LESLIE TIPPELL has been on the radio for two years, first on Sonomaste with Lisa Murray, then joined Ken Brown on Community Conversations which transformed into Qué Pasa Sonoma. The new title pays homage to her Mexican ancestry on her mother’s side but she credits her husband Matthew with the suggestion. She is also cohost of sportzone, another of  KSVY’s programs.

A native of Southern California, Leslie graduated with a degree in Psychology from UCI, relocated to San Francisco in 1999 and has resided in Sonoma since 2004. In her spare time, Leslie is an Architectural Color Designer by trade for Studio Tippell (studiotippell.com), teaches Yoga for the Yoga Community (yogacommunity.net), and is a Design Review Commissioner for the town of Sonoma (sonomavalley.com).

KEN BROWN is host of Mornings in Sonoma which can be streamed on sonomasuntv.com and sonomasunfm.com. Ken is the senior City of Sonoma Council Member in years served (13) and age (64). He received his degree in life from growing up in NYC with advanced degrees from the US Army and Vietnam. He has four kids, four grand-kids with one more on the way, and has been married four times.
